How to stop an image from zooming in or out automatically?

If you see an Image zooming in or out on a scene automatically, it will have an In-Place > Zoom animation applied.

To stop it from zooming:

Step 1: Select the image.

Step 2: Click the Animation option on the top panel

Step 3: Change the In-Place animation to None.
